Saluggi's Pizza: "No thanks!"
I didn't take any notes on this place because it made me mad. Fucking stuffy. Come here for lunch from your office job or whatever it is YOU PEOPLE do. But count me out, maaaan. I don't want no part in this charade you call society. Real talk: Alex, Greg and I felt really uncomfortable standing there waiting for our slice and definitely didn't feel comfortable staying.
This pizza wasn't very good at all, totally grasping at some kind of high brow that it didn't quite pull off. The cheese was lumpy, the dough was crisp but too rigid, the sauce was mediocre at best. Fuck it. I'm not wasting any more energy on this place, don't waste any of yours.

the best pizza in tribeca.ReplyDelete
ouch. I really liked this place when I went last year. but that slice in the picture does look like it sucks.ReplyDelete
Huh, I actually heard this place was decent. Good to knowReplyDelete
This pizza is so bad, I ate here once, and the place smelled like it had a sewage backup. Horrible. They overload the pies with too much of everything to the point where you can't even think about picking it up to eat it with your hands. It's a shame too, becuase their cheese is pretty good. If they used their ingredients in moderation, then they would be ok.ReplyDelete
There a "B" in the window!! Filthy place!!!ReplyDelete
I just got delivery from there. The pizza was cold and gross. I live two blocks away. It tasted like it had sat out for a long time. The crust was tough and rubbery and the cheese was lumpy and congealed. Disgusting. House salad had wilted lettuce.ReplyDelete
Hm...why are Anonymous?ReplyDelete
Ummm this is one of the better slices I've had in the city. You guys clearly have no clue what you're talking aboutReplyDelete
